I’ve been trying to find ways to make some extra money on the side while my business is slow, and I had a friend tell me about a new tool called niche devil. Now, I was reading this site that did a niche devil review and it sound like it could very well be a pretty sweet tool. It is still pretty new, in fact I cant even get it yet because it hasnt even been released. But it sounds as if this tool can help anyone, even someone as noob as me, make some decent money online.

In a nutshell, from what I gathered it allows you to create multiple sites in very little time. I have tried using phpbay on a wordpress blog, and boy, did that take me forever. It sounds as if though niche devil is gonna let someone like me with little to no technical abilities the opportunity to really make some money.

If you have ever tried to make any sort of money online, then you know how frustrating it can be. I think Ive tried everything, from doing the $.05 email thing to taking surveys to trying adsense. None of those things seemed to work, so Im hoping that niche devil can help me out.

If you’re at all interested like I was, head on over to this site, nichedevilreview.com. It is created by someone who has actually used it and has tried a lot of different programs and techniques to make money online. Oh, and dont worry if you dont have or cant get an ebay affiliate account. It looks as if though niche devil is gonna let you use the amazon or chitika affilite program as well, and those affiliate programs are pretty easy to get into.

Why power tools are awesome, and why sometimes they might not be

The power tool industry has implemented the idea of cordless power tools in the past decade. They have been very popular. Consumers enjoy the convenience of being able to use them anywhere without having to worry about a power supply. It is also nice not have to worry about the cords being in your way, especially when an extension cord was needed to get it to the right length.

As most consumers are aware, convenience is always more expensive. You will find cordless power tools cost more than the traditional power tools with cords. A major drawback of cordless power tools is that they don’t offer as much power as a cord power tool. In many cases the difference in power isn’t enough to be an issue, but for larger projects it can be a major concern.

You always know a power tool with a cord is going to work when you need it. That isn’t always so with a cordless tool. I know on several occasions I have reached for my cordless screwdriver and found the charge completely dead because I didn’t charge it up. You will need to remember better than I do to recharge your cordless power tools. While you can easily recharge the batteries, some power tools have a battery that gets weaker over time. This means it won’t hold much of a charge. You can choose to purchase a replacement battery at that point.

There is less of a risk of accidents with a cordless power tool because you don’t have to worry about trips and falls due to the cords. You are also less likely to be shocked or electrocuted. One draw back is that with a cordless power tool someone else can’t simply unplug it if you are involved in an accident. Make sure any cordless power tool has an easily accessed on/off switch.

To make the recharge issue less of an inconvenience, some larger power tools including drills and saws come with two batteries. This is great for keeping one in the power tool and the other charging. It is fast and easy to switch the two so you will always have a fully charged battery ready to work with.

The decision to purchase a cordless power tool is a personal one. Some of us love the convenience of them, and we don’t mind paying extra for it. Most of us don’t miss the extra power either because we only use these power tools for home projects. Those who do large project on a regular basis prefer the heavy duty power tools with a cord. That is fine, that is why the market carries both. It allows consumers to make a choice based on what is going to work well for them.

To make that decision, decide what you are looking for in a power tool. Where are you likely to use it? Is there a reliable power source in that location? How much power are you looking for? If it doesn’t matter than make the purchase based on the best price for the power tool you are looking for. You can easily compare the differences between a particular power tool model with a cord and without. You will have to decide if it is worth the expense for the convenience.

Why cheaper isnt always better…

Have you ever wanted what the difference is between a name brand power tool and a discount brand? More than anything, it is the name. People tend to pay a great deal of money for power tools that come from a manufacturer that they are loyal to. Power tools are expensive, and you want the best ones to help you get your projects done right. Some people have the impression that discount brands of power tools are cheap imitations that just won’t get the job done. This isn’t always the case though.

Amazingly enough, in some instances you will find the same exact tool with a different name and a different label. Everything else including the quality is exactly the same. Another area you will find a huge difference in is the price tag. Some manufacturers offer high quality power tools and then middle of the road power tools. This is to meet the budget of their range of consumers without causing a great deal of confusion. Bosch sales high quality power tools in a blue case, then sells lower quality power tools in green cases. In addition, they are the manufacturer for the lower end power tools under the brand name Skil.

How do you know if you should purchase a name brand power tool or a discount brand? Ask yourself how likely it is going to be for you to use that particular power tool in the future. If you are buying it for one specific project and don’t think you will use it again, then you can purchase a lower quality power tool for the project. It needs to be high enough quality that it will get you excellent results, but it doesn’t have to be a long lasting product.

We all know power tools can be expensive, and if you need to purchase several to get a project done then you may need to go with the discount brands. In some cases this will be the difference between being able to purchase two power tools you need or one that is a high cost name brand.

On the other hand, name brand power tools often come with a much better warranty and they are often able to stand up to more wear and tear. If you are self employed and you will be using your power tools on a daily basis, you are wise to invest in the top of the line heavy duty power tools. You will also want to engrave your name on them because when power tools end up stolen it is likely going to be those name brand ones that end up missing.

The choice to purchase a brand name power tool versus a discount brand comes down to personal preference. Some people are very loyal to a particular brand because it has served them well over time. They also know that manufacturer will be around in the future if they need replacement parts and to honor warranties. Brand name power tools generally last longer.

Some people are very good at looking over a brand name power tool and finding out everything it has to offer. They are then able to find a discount brand that is the same or very similar at a much lower cost. As we discussed, some discount brands are made from the same manufacturer as the name brand power tools. The consumer has to weigh all the factors to make the right choice for them. It has to be based on the price, and what you are getting with the power tool. It also depends on how long you need the power tool to last and the quality you want your completed project to have. The sayings buyer beware and you get what you pay for really apply to the market of power tools. Taking the time to make comparisons based on the information here will help you make the right decision for power tool purchases.

Power saws are not toys!!!

Posted by Barry | Man tools | Monday 21 August 2000 5:00 pm

I just got me a new power saw. And while I love my power saw, I just want to make sure everyone knows that power saws are not toys! You must always practice extreme caution and safety while using them. Now, enough of me being your mother, here is some stuff to know about power saws.

Power saws are used for small and large projects. Some of them are light weight and other projects involve heavy objects. Power saws are available in a variety of sizes and different volumes of power to ensure you can always find the right power saw for any need you have. The newer power saws often come with an infrared light that you follow as you cut. This is a perfect way to ensure your cuts are as straight as possible.

The most common type of power saw is the chainsaw, used to cut down timber. They work well if you need to trim your trees or cut them down for firewood. On draw back of chainsaws is that the cut is often ragged so there is a great deal of splintering.

Circular saws are used for a variety of home improvement projects. They are very versatile, so it is a great choice if you don’t want to have to purchase several saws that you only use occasionally. Circular saws are powerful enough to cut through very thick wood. Make sure you choose one that has a high level of power and comes with the on/off location in an easy to reach location in the event you need to turn it off in a hurry.

A mitre saw is a type of circular saw that works well for crosscutting.  It is used to cut at exact angles, dimensions, and lengths.   For very detailed work, a scroll saw works great. These are both very common tools used in woodworking.

A saber saw works well to cut paneling and other thin, flexible materials. It is commonly referred to as a jigsaw. You want one that is sturdy and fits well in your hand. The quality of the saber saw isn’t that important, but the quality of the blades you use in one is a very important issue that will impact your cuts.

A table saw is used for bigger jobs or long pieces of material. It consists of a table with the saw blade located in the center of the table. This is a great way to have a surface to hold the other end of the material.

A band saw is the best option when you need to cut something in the middle or away from the edge of a piece of material. The band saw has a small table with a very thin blade that comes down from the top. Clamp your material in place to line up with the bland and pull the top part of the band saw down. This is great for cutting out wall plugs and door knobs.

There are several very small power saws as well. The crosscut saw is used when it is necessary to cut across the grain. A rip saw operates similar to a circular saw but it is smaller. A keyhole saw is used to make curved cuts or to put round holes in paneling and dry wall.

Most saws are long lasting and durable. It is very important that you store them where the blade won’t be a safety hazard. Make sure you unplug them after every use if you don’t  have a cordless saw. Since the last so long, it is important that you protect the blade. They can become rusty if you don’t clean them after use. Never operate a saw with a rusty or bend blade. It is a potential safety hazard.

Saws are very powerful tools. You should always were safety glasses while operating any type of saw. You also need to use any guards that come with the saw for your own protection. Make sure you fully understand how to operate the particular saw you are using. Take some time to investigate the right saw to use for your particular project. Some saws are very versatile and can be used for many different things.
